Yes or No Wheel
Fast, Cryptographically Fair 50/50 Decisions
Break binary deadlock in seconds. Equal slices, zero bias, and real-time physics.
The Yes or No Wheel eliminates analysis paralysis when you are stuck between two competing paths. Rather than flipping an inconsistent physical coin, our HTML5 Canvas engine calculates winning angles using client-side cryptographic randomness.
- Micro-Choices: Should I buy this gadget, workout now, or send that message?
- Fair Arbitrations: Neutral tie-breakers between two friends or team ideas.
- Classroom Prompts: Calling quick True/False or Yes/No answer rounds.
Strategic Rules & The Gut-Check Effect
The Freudian Spin Test
Notice how you feel during the final deceleration ticks. If your gut secretly roots for one wedge to win—or feels disappointed when it doesn't—you already have your true answer.
Weighting Unequal Choices
Not every decision is a true 50/50. Open the Entries tab and adjust slice weights (e.g. 7 vs 3) to model a 70% lean while still leaving room for chance.
Running Structured Series
For high-stakes bets or tournament tie-breakers, enable the Results tab to track the winner history over a best-of-three series without disputes.
50.000% Mathematical Parity
CSPRNG VerifiedAngles are sampled using crypto.getRandomValues. With 8 alternating slices (4 Yes, 4 No), the mathematical probability of either result landing is exactly 0.5000.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this spinner more reliable than flipping a physical coin?
Yes. Stanford researchers demonstrated that physical coins exhibit a subtle 51% bias toward the side facing up before the toss. A Web Crypto wheel has zero mass imbalance or release velocity skew.
Can I change the text or add a third option?
Click the Entries tab on the right to edit slice text, add custom answers, or switch presets to our 3-way Yes No Maybe wheel.
Does the wheel remember my previous spin history?
Yes. Click the 'Results' tab on the right panel to inspect the full timeline of previous winning spins and timestamped outcomes.
