Coin Flip Strategy & Cryptographic Trust

The Stanford Bias01

Physical Coins vs. Digital Parity

Stanford mathematician Persi Diaconis proved that real coins have a ~51% tendency to land on the face that was up before flipping due to precession wobbles. Our Web Crypto engine eliminates physical tilt completely.

Zero Physical Bias

Each side occupies exactly 180° of the circumference. Uniform client-side random floats ensure zero mechanical wear, finger thumb torque, or wind drag.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use this wheel instead of asking a smart speaker or flipping a penny?

Voice assistants generate answers invisibly behind a black box. Our wheel displays the physical deceleration live on screen with a public pointer, making the outcome visibly verifiable to everyone in the room.

Can I customize the coin labels to team names or colors?

Yes. Open the Entries tab on the right panel to rename 'Heads' and 'Tails' to team names, player handles, or choose custom slice colors.

Does this require downloading an app or signing in?

No. It runs entirely inside any modern web browser on iPhone, Android, tablet, or desktop with instant load times and zero account setup.
