Veelvoorkomende Toepassingen

Conditional Commitments: Agreeing to attend an event only if work deadlines clear.
Purchase Deliberation: Waiting 24 hours on impulse buys if 'Maybe' lands.
Negotiation Pauses: Signaling that terms need adjustment before a final yes.

How to Handle the 'Maybe' Landing

The 24h Rule01

The Sleep-On-It Buffer

If the spinner lands on 'Maybe', institute an automatic 24-hour waiting period. Impulse fades, leaving rational clarity.

Condition Setting02

Convert to an 'If-Then'

Don't let 'Maybe' cause more paralysis. Define one specific prerequisite: 'I say Yes IF they cover travel costs; otherwise No'.

Probability Tuning03

Compressing the Buffer

If you want to force decisiveness, reduce the weight of 'Maybe' to 1 while leaving 'Yes' and 'No' at 3. 'Maybe' becomes a rare wildcard rather than an equal 33% escape.

Veelgestelde vragen

Why have 'Maybe' on a decision wheel at all?

Because forcing an immediate Yes or No when key facts are missing leads to regret. 'Maybe' serves as a structured prompt to pause or negotiate.

Can I rename 'Maybe' to 'Ask Again Later' or 'Compromise'?

Yes. Click any slice in the Entries panel on the right to edit the text, hex color, or icon instantly.

How do I make 'Yes' twice as likely as 'Maybe'?

In the Entries panel, set the weight value for Yes slices to 2 and Maybe slices to 1. The wheel geometry automatically expands and contracts slice arcs in real time.
